Library Declares Phillip Reading Superstar

I participated in a reading program held by my local library in which I read over 12 books. Most of the books I read were those titles suggested on the Seton reading list for 6th and 7th grade.

This photo was taken in front of my home. In it I am displaying the prizes I earned for participating. They are a yard sign, a coupon for a free ice cream, and a certificate of participation.

What organization recognized the achievement?

The organization who recognized the achievement was the Terrebonne Parish Libray.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Through homeschooling I have come to develop a real passion for reading. By being homeschooled I have the time to pursue my interests and to develop them further.

What are your interests?

My interests include reading, computer science, science, and playing with my dog, Sandy.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

There are so many possibilities for my future. I would possibly like to pursue a career working with animals, or even working with computers.

What are your favorite subjects?

My favorite subjects are Science and History.
