Carlo earns medal at the U.S. Fencing Junior Olympics

I earned a medal at the U.S. Fencing Junior Olympics under 17 saber category in February of 2016. Three of my club teammates (and friends) also placed in the event, making it a great day for our fencing club, our coach, and our home state of NJ.

What organization recognized the achievement?

The USA Fencing Association holds the Junior Olympic championships every year, an event attended by fencers from all over the nation and world, including Olympians.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling helped me achieve my goal through the self-discipline and time management it teaches, as well as to be true to myself and to trust in God throughout my life and competitions.

What are your interests?

Fencing, aviation, Scouting, and anything outdoors.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I am inspired to use my talents, leadership, and Faith to benefit others, whether that be physically or even as simply as a role model.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are history, political science, and music.
