Jansen Discovers 10 Meteorites

Jansen Discovers 10 Meteorites

Starting on September 16, 2011, and up to now, Homeschooling has allowed for me to discover and identify ten meteorites.

The photo was taken in the deserts outside of Holbrook, Arizona, moments after I discovered the fourth meteorite of that trip, on August 22, 2014. My mom took the photo. She, too, has discovered meteorites, (2), through her sharing my study and adventures.

I am now a member of the IMCA, (International Meteorite Collectors Association), member #7039, and this is the organization that introduced me to meteoritics through its numerous members and resources.

Homeschooling helped me to attain these discoveries by allowing me to take the many extracurricular studies and excursions/expeditions to learn more about this field of science. Homeschooling has also enabled me to be free to go and explore in more detail how these discoveries have increased my faith in God, for which I am most thankful.

My interests are meteoritics, Altar Serving and helping my parish, writing poems, books, and novels, hiking, classical education, family activities, and inventing/ machining with my Grandfather.

I am inspired through Christ to use all of my talents, big and small, for the glory of God, the aid and salvation of my friends and acquaintances, and to hopefully support myself and my family through their use; all God willing.

My favorite subjects are English and History.
