John Plays Lead in A Christmas Carol

John Plays Lead in A Christmas Carol

I played the lead role of Ebenezer Scrooge in the production of A Christmas Carol in December, 2015.

What organization recognized the achievement?

Over 100 people from our St. Columbkille Parish in Wilmington, Ohio attended and said I did an outstanding job.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

My mom directed the play and my friends in the Blessed Margaret of Castello Homeschool Group all played one or more roles. There were over 20 roles and just a dozen kids to play the parts.

The families all pitched in to make posters, costumes and sets and to put together sound effects and music. If I wasn’t homeschooled I probably would not have had this opportunity.

What are your interests?

I am interested in reading (I like Lord of the Rings and Calvin and Hobbes), movies (especially Star Wars), listening to music (Michael Card and Newsboys are favorites), and playing and watching football (Cincinnati Bengals).

What are you inspired to do with your life?

Among other things, I would like to learn the Elven language.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

I like History and Science because they are interesting and I do pretty well in these subjects.
