Keeping Up With The Joneses

Do you sometimes feel tremendous pressure to “keep up with the Joneses” in certain areas of your life? If so, what are those areas?

Write down in your journal exactly why you feel the need to keep pace with this imaginary couple. Be specific. What do you believe people will think of you if you do not possess or achieve everything that the Joneses do? What is it that you’re afraid of? What do you think is the root cause of this fear in your life?

Perhaps you are someone who does not feel the pressure to keep up with the Joneses. In fact, you believe that you possess many things which Mr. and Mrs. Jones do not have. What are those things?
